Perhaps you actually like the way you look, but you just want to add some pizzazz to your appearance for certain occasions. For example, your regular clothes, makeup and your regular hairdo might be just perfect for things like running errands or going to work every day. However, with Christmas coming up, you might want to change things up a bit for parties. Or, it might be that you and your sweetheart are going on a cruise and you want to look glamorous for dinners on the ship. From selecting snazzy clothes to buying a wig, here are some ideas that might help you to add interest to your appearance for special occasions.

The Clothes -You can probably predict the kind of events you'll be attending by looking at past years. For example, will you be going to an office Christmas party? Perhaps you know that you'll be attending a New Year's Eve celebration at your friend's home, just as you have done in the past. And, of course, if you are going on a cruise, you have more than likely already learned that there will be at least one evening that is designated as a  ​Formal Wear event. Are you more comfortable in a dress or in slacks? If you are more comfortable in a dress, consider buying something fabulous, say bright red or dazzling turquoise. If you are wanting to wear slacks, consider doing something very different. For example, think of creating a tuxedo look, but instead of wearing a black vest and bow tie, wear a sequined set. 

The Hair - Buy a wig! Buy more than one wig! Can you imagine the fun you'll have by wearing a hairdo that your friends and family have never seen before? For example, if you have short hair, consider selecting a wig of long hair. By doing so, you can wear it down for some events and then you can create an up-do for other events. Think of selecting at least one wig in a totally different color. For example, if you are a blond, select a wig made of raven black hair. Have you always wanted to see if blondes really do have more fun? Then, try out that theory with the selection of a blonde wig. The great thing about wigs is that they come in many different prices. The faux hair ones look like real hair and they are very affordable.
